The SICI
community
The SICI-community has considerably grown in the last few years.
The SICI community has grown considerably in recent years, now bringing together 45 national and regional inspectorates and organisations dedicated to the external evaluation of education into a dynamic network dedicated to enhancing both the quality and inspection of education—including members within and beyond Europe. Our members share a strong commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and building impactful connections. SICI fosters a vibrant environment where members exchange insights, innovate, and work together to raise educational standards and refine inspection and external evaluation practices. The current members of SICI and the representative are listed below along with each member's official website.
Inspectorate profiles
Each SICI member has contributed a profile outlining their inspection or evaluation system. In some cases, members have also provided a description of their broader education system.
Please note that these profiles are the property of the respective inspectorates, and SICI does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or current validity of the information presented.
Each SICI member appoints a key individual, known as the SICI National Coordinator, to represent their organisation within the SICI community. This person serves as a vital link between their organisation and SICI, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. The National Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact, facilitating communication between SICI and their respective organisation.
National Coordinators gather and submit relevant information about their organisation’s work to SICI. They provide updates on new SICI projects and foster connections between their organisation and other SICI members working on similar initiatives. Additionally, they can propose collaborative projects, promote their organisation’s work, and contribute to the exchange of best practices among SICI members.
National Coordinators also play an active role in encouraging their organisation’s engagement in SICI activities, ensuring mutual benefits. They meet regularly online and convene annually at the SICI General Assembly.
